Chris McNamara

At age 16, Chris and his brother Morgan got dropped off in Yosemite by their dad to climb El Cap. Years later, Chris has continued to dedicate his life to vertical pursuits (and being a dad). Self-described El Capitan addicted big wall climber, ex-wingsuit BASE jumper, author of ten books and founder of SuperTopo, OutdoorGearLab, TechGearLab, and the American Safe Climbing Association. Ya, you could say Chris is a pretty motivated person who has contributed a lot to the climbing community.
